Hoagies and Haze

3-wheelmotion haze
--

So almost approaching the year mark in China. Time has straight flown. (Time seems to go by even faster here than in NYC, which hitherto I hadn't thought possible.)

One thing that still boggles the mind is how many Chinese people there are here. I mean really. Below is a scene at a department store just waiting to ride up the escalator.

And while I've gotten acclimated to many things living here, one thing I do miss about the US, and NYC in particular, is the diversity of people. And hoagies.

Keep it moving

So I was writing this really long post about self-discovery, epiphanies and what not and then I had to leave before finishing. When I came back to finish up and send it off...gone. The whole post was nowhere to be found.

"Devastational."

Anyway, I keep trying to rewrite the post, but now I just have this half-finished draft and a backlog of some photos and video clips from the past few months here in China.

So I'll try to keep it moving in the meantime, in homage of the older generation in my neighborhood that keeps it moving even in Beijing's wintry cold.
